Project Portfolio

Bar WiFi Upgrade

We started by surveying the existing network to identify what could be reused and what needed updating, helping to minimise unnecessary costs.

A new cable was run to the outdoor seating area to provide WiFi via an access point. All existing access points were then replaced with new units to improve performance, and an additional access point was installed to ensure full coverage across the restaurant.

Finally, a new network switch was added to support multiple VLANs, creating separate networks for staff and customers while maintaining a secure, scalable network infrastructure.

Retail Network Upgrade

We started by assessing the staff room to determine the ideal locations for Ethernet ports. After deciding on the placements, an existing Ethernet port was rewired to add two additional ports, allowing staff to hardwire two devices directly into the network.

The original Ethernet port was then used to install a wireless access point, improving WiFi coverage for the staff area and ensuring reliable connectivity throughout the space.

Charity Event Network Solution

We started by identifying the network size and planned usage for the event to determine the required setup.

A temporary wireless network was then deployed using access points to provide staff with consistent connectivity for personal use. Additionally, we set up a secure virtual network for the EPOS system, enabling safe card payments during the pop-up event.

Air BnB Point-to-Point Network

We began by identifying the optimal location for the 4G antenna to ensure the best signal while minimising interference from external sources. The antenna was installed with clear line of sight and discreet placement.

A second antenna was fitted to the guest house, with cabling wired indoors to provide two Ethernet ports: one for a wireless access point delivering WiFi coverage to the guest house, and another for a device requiring a wired connection.

Coffee Shop Network Upgrade

We began by surveying the site to determine the feasibility of relocating an Ethernet port to the client’s desired location. Once confirmed, we rewired the existing Ethernet port to add a new port at the specified spot.

The original Ethernet port was then used to install a wireless access point, providing public WiFi for customers and ensuring reliable coverage throughout the coffee shop.

Church WiFi Installation

We began by surveying the site to determine the best locations for an outdoor wireless dish and indoor access points to ensure full coverage.

Once the outdoor dish location was finalised, a cable was run discreetly from the dish into the building to maintain aesthetics. Indoor access points were then installed in positions that provided optimal coverage throughout the building while remaining unobtrusive.

Office Unit Network Upgrade

We began by assessing the existing network, reviewing cable locations and current WiFi coverage.

After the assessment, a new cable path was added to bring Ethernet connectivity closer to the centre of the office. This allowed us to install wireless access points across the ceiling, providing full coverage throughout the space.

Finally, new Ethernet sockets were installed on both sides of the office, enabling additional devices to be hardwired into the network for improved reliability and performance.

Caravan & Camping Park WiFi Solution

We began by surveying the park to identify key locations for WiFi, such as restroom buildings and the reception area. After the owner decided on coverage for these locations, we installed 4G antennas alongside long-range wireless access points to provide maximum network range while keeping setup costs low.

To manage guest access, we implemented a ticketing system, allowing visitors to pay for WiFi based on the duration of their stay, providing a seamless and scalable solution for the campsite.

Medical Surgery Network Setup

We began by surveying the site to determine the optimal locations for wireless access points, ensuring full coverage throughout the surgery.

Cabling was then run through the ceiling to each location, with Ethernet ports installed and access points fitted to provide reliable connectivity.

Finally, the network was configured with two separate networks: a private network for staff and a public network for patients, ensuring security and ease of use for all users.

University Campus WiFi Installation

At one of our client’s campuses, the existing access points required updating to ensure optimal connectivity for staff and students.

We first surveyed and counted the existing access points to determine the number needed for replacement. New access points were then installed and clearly labelled, allowing for easier management and faster troubleshooting if any issues arise.
